Art Therapy

Hello & thanks for stopping by,

This may the first time you have explored Art Therapy and what it can provide for you or your organisation. Whatever has brought you to my site today you are welcome here, and I hope to explain my service to you in the most straightforward way.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a mental health service involving visual art making as a form of non-verbal expression. This holistic approach can assist in allowing you to explore & express emotions, feelings and your inner world. It is all about the process of meaning making. There is no need for artistic ability or perfection. The benefits of Art Therapy with a supportive practitioner means that holistic witnessing can take place where you may feel seen and heard like never before. We can use materials together in collaboration or seperately and there is time for reflection and meaning making.

This service on offer is for those who would like a a gentle & creative approach to counselling. In a safe space together we explore creative arts practices to support you and any goals and visions you hold.

If you would like to read more information on Art Therapy please take a look here at the Australia Counselling site with further information.
